Wow! What a fantastic end of term party we had! We danced, ate lovely treats sorted by Buttercup, played 4 games organised by Daffodil plus lots of other fun musical games ran by Fab Discos and then we danced some more! Our winners all received a fabulous prize:
Aurora – Lucky Dip Raffle, Paige – Hoop Toss, Bobbin – Pin the Nose on the Reindeer, Charlotte – Best Christmas Outfit and Jasmine, Emily S and Florence – pass the parcel. The winners of pass the parcel received a fabulous hand made Christmas stocking containing a small prize.
We had a few awards to give out too! Isabel received her Bronze award badge and certificate. Well done Isabel who has completed 5 interest badges at home so well on her way to completing the 6 themes and ultimately Silver and maybe even the prestigious Gold award!
The Rabbits won our Best Six League table – a fantastic effort by the Rabbits (Sophie, Gracie, Bobbin, Ayda, Charlotte and Sienna). Their top score of 776 was a combination of winning our Team Building night plus all members of the Six remembering to bring everything they need to Brownies thus ensuring they received top points every week on their Six register. Close second where the Hedgehogs with 754 points followed by the Squirrels with 666 and lastly the Foxes with 541 points. They all received a lovely certificate and Brownie resin teddy bear.
Our termly Best Brownie was Gracie of the Rabbits. Gracie was nominated by 5 Leaders so pipped the post to win this fabulous award. Not only is she super enthusiastic, taking part in everything we do but she is polite, kind and thoughtful and has made a excellent Second for the Rabbits. Well done Gracie who received a lovely certificate, a trophy to keep, a Brownie tin with pom pom keyring plus her Christmas gift box had a Lindt Christmas Santa.
The rest of the Brownies all received a lovely Christmas box containing a small game, some mini chocolates, badges earned throughout the term plus a special Girlguiding Christmas badge.
A massive thank you to Fab Discos for providing our disco – the 4th but certainly not the last time we will use these amazing guys. Also a massive thank you to the Arnold Clark Community Fund – their donation to our Unit paid for this event.
Lastly, Daffodil thanked the Leaders for all their help and contributions this term: Bluebell, Buttercup, Daisy, Snowdrop and Sunflower who all received their own goody bag with a thank you gift from the Unit and a Christmas gift from Daffodil. Sadly, Bex wasn’t able to make it due to work but Daffodil will drop off her gifts later in the week. We also had a small box of chocolates for our parent helper, Helen.
