Saturday 9 December – Panto time!

This blog is a little late as Daffodil forgot to post it!!

Oh no you didn’t, oh yes we did!  Well,  the time had finally come and off to the Panto we went.  Daisy and Snowdrop took 10 Brownies (Alicia, Darcy, Elora, Emma, Hannah, Isabel, Izzy, Jess, Skyla and Vika) to the Lincoln Theatre Royal to see the classic Aladdin.  The event was organised by our district commissioner, Sarai  with lots of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and leaders attending from various Waddington and Bracebridge Heath units.  Many, many thanks to Sarai for organising the trip.

Over the years we’ve seen Dick Whittingham, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Treasure Island, Aladdin (2018), Snow White, Robin Hood and Cinderella. We must have seen them all now as Aladdin was back!!

We took our seats and had a brilliant time. The girls  soon got the hang of the booing, cheering and joining in with the fun.  At the interval we all had a drink and a vanilla ice-cream and then settled down for the rest of the show.  It was great – one of the best Pantos we’ve been too in years!

A massive thank you to Daisy and Snowdrop for giving up their Saturday morning to take the Brownies – we hope you had as much fun as the girls.
